Shanelle is a policy analyst on the CSG Justice Center's Juvenile Justice team. Prior to joining the CSG Justice Center, she worked as the disproportionate minority contact coordinator at the Governor's Office of Crime Control and Prevention in Maryland. In that capacity, she worked to reduce reliance on the secure confinement of juveniles and address racial and ethnic disparities in the juvenile justice system. Shanelle earned her BA in criminology and criminal justice and psychology from the University of Maryland and her JD from the University of Miami School of Law.
